This is my Kenyan "pacer." I thought I could find one that I would not have a problem out pacing on my run. WRONG!!!! I think Kevin could run TO America!!
Kevin picked up with me at about a half mile unto my run and for the next 3 miles he pulled me along (except for the time a soccer ball took him out when we were running through a beach soccer game, but it only took him a moment to recover and there he was again pulling me along in his relentless pacing!).
His reward was a small tip and a large Coke which lit up his eyes and showed off his bright smile that Coke would covet on a billboard!
Even a workout in Kenya can bring joy and relational opportunities.

We love this picture! Mark showed it to me as he looked at it after his 7 mile run today! So glad you are enjoying your time there and we will be praying for the team arriving today. We miss you guys! We are looking forward to hearing (and seeing pictures!)of how God is working there!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great opportunity!!! Maybe we will see Kevin running the Boston marathon someday!!! :) What a great picture!
ReplyDeleteI love it!!! Guy, no wonder you want to run the other way...LOL. This little fellow no doubt can outrun even you!
ReplyDeleteWe could use someone like Kevin to help us get ready for the Danskin...maybe Jessie can sneak him home...? (And they shall be lead by a child...but maybe this isn't what He meant?!)
ReplyDeleteHEY GUY !! By the looks of little Kevins shorts, you two should switch with one another. Ha Ha
ReplyDeleteGOD BLESS...
